What they do for your buildings
They write site-specific, hazard-specific emergency response procedures and evacuation diagrams for your building, in line with AS 3745:2010 and AS 1851:2012. Your emergency control organisation gets a structured program: six-monthly skills sessions covering fire, bomb threat and active armed offender, yearly procedures training for your chief warden and wardens, and site-specific exercises. Training is offered at four levels, from information sessions up to competency training against PUAFER005 and PUAFER006. Your plan is then kept current and validated against exercises, baseline data and your annual fire safety statement, so your Emergency Planning Committee can show it works.
